But it's okay because somebody used a computer to make her look skinnier. Normally I'd say a woman shouldn't have to look like she escaped from a hunger strike on Wisteria Lane just to do the news; I mean, it's not like NBC ever pasted Brokaw's head on some super-buff dude in a Speedo. (What an idea, though. Rrrrrowrr!) But this is Couric, so I figure she deserves whatever abuse she gets. How did they think they'd get away with this crap? What's it called, fauxtography? Sheesh. Just look at the picture before and after:

P.S. I'm fascinated by the pic on the left. She looks like she's batting at a beehive to get at the delicious juicy honeycomb inside. Ohhh, look out, Rosie! Bees!!

I'm good with PhotoShop, but I couldn't have made the change you're showing there. The real change I could do, but the Rosie to Katie... couldn't do it. Sheer brilliance and awesome talent can only get you so far.

Good thing I have my ego to keep me company.
